Some might say they feel like they are nothing like they are simply worthless but know this guys that God knows us, has a purpose for us and even more is working through us this very second. Can you believe that since the day you are born that God made a modification of your cell, each one of them for a great purpose.  Maybe the thought is just crazy and wild how could someone so small and worthless has so much value in God’s eyes that he is working through me, what? The craziest thing I’ve ever heard. And oh he is planning on doing great things through me? Wow that must be crazy right.

Yeah.

Many of you have ambitions in life and everyday you are working your butt off to get there and now hearing that God is in control of your life and able to change it scares you? No, don’t be. God doesn’t work that way the things you are building now will result into something great, greater than you have ever imagined. Maybe things wouldn’t go as planned all the time but God will provide something greater. So don’t worry!

Can I just remind you one more time that God is working in you, through you this very moment? He is building his kingdom on earth and you get to be in that process what could you ask for more? It’s a great thing. He will be using you in all sorts of things through your life and profession, you don’t necessarily need to be a pastor you could be a teacher and you will tell students of how great God’s glory is, or maybe be a nurse and teach children on god’s love by showing your love and patience. So be ready and aware at all times!

God is working on 10,000 things in your life and maybe you are only aware with 3 of them.

The 4s

The key to hearing God's voice is to complete the 4S's.
-Stillness / Silence
-Solitude
-Simplicity
-Surrender
The most important step is to surrender our lives to God. It means that we must let Him into our soul and let Him decide what’s best for us. In order to stay focus your mind with God, you need simplicity, which means that you need to be calm. To help us focus on doing this, we will need solitude, which has a definition of the state of being alone. It’s is very important for us to be alone while hearing God’s voice because we need to be away from all the distraction that exist around us. The last one is stillness / silence, again this will help us focus even more. This will help us set our mind to God. By doing the 4S’s correctly, you will have a better relationship with Him and be closer to Him.

But this is not necessarily required to hear Gods voice but it sure is recommended. Through praying and the bible God can speak to you in languages you never know possible.

HEARING AND LISTENING

 From what have been discussed previously this video will clarify more on how listening and hearing is two different things.

Example: Cheating (DON'T CHEAT)

Cheating

This overly used term in high school where everybody is just like- you cheated? Oh my high five me too! Something that is not to be proud of became something talked about and even to be proud of. So before I start cheating is getting rewarded for something dishonest and while you sit there and think that it has no coloration with understanding that God is working through you and listening to God’s voice (the blogs main topic) it actually does. A LOT!

For teenagers cheating is an irresponsible and quick way to resolve a problem that may lead to unfair results.  Maybe for the moment yeah it might be a good solution, a fantastic one even but I believe most of cheating is based on frustration and hopelessness.

Giving a homeless person 100 dollars doesn’t make him rich and doesn’t make you poor. It is exactly like cheating on a test, I mean copying someone else’s answers doesn’t make you any smarter. This is where hearing God’s voice comes in, by hearing Gods voice that doesn’t mean he is going to tell you the answers to the test but he could remind you of what you have studied or even help you have choices on the exam logically this might seem supernatural but it’s really not God is just miraculous and real.

On those exam days where you are about to give up on well, life! You have to remember that through the things you do and the things you go through God is working on you toward the shinning future he planned for you, like you never imagined. Like when you are studying biology and everything just pretty much seem useless know that God must have a purpose and nothing will go to waste because He is Him and He wouldn’t want to waste his time.

Real life implications

This is an actual story/testimony from a Springfield International School student in grade 9:

When i was praying i heard God voice, he's saying to me that you need to be a low profile type of guy don't be so arrogant to people.All the things that you have on earth is given from me and you get your money from me, so please don't be so arrogant to people since they may hate you and you'll not have many friends in school and whenever place you in.

I was crying to say sorry to God since i know that just by a second everything can be gone like all of my money are gone and all the things are gone in my life. So i started to say sorry to God for what i did and i promise to him that i would not do it again. I also promise to him in the future when i have a lot of money, i will make a church so that many people can glorify his name and many souls will come to God and praise him.

The church is for poor people not for rich people,so by the church many people will be save and many people will say that Jesus is the truth and the life and without him we can't do anything since he's the one that made the earth and make us as humans. So,by this church many people from other religions can come to this church and commit their life to God so they can be safe.

So this is my wonderful story of my life,and i like to tell this story cause i want to show that God is alive and he he is really rise from the dead that's why we need to trust him and obey him.For me God is really amazing and i'm so grateful what he did to my wonderful life and i was so thankful to be put in a wonderful family that all of our members believe in Jesus Christ.

This story right here is basically prove that everything said/taught to you about listening to God’s voice is not just a bunch of rules and regulation it’s practical it’s happening everywhere through ways you never thought possible. That God is actually reaching out to people whispering wisdom in their very ears to bring out a better person ready to glow and if you allow God to work through you maybe you would be next.

Hearing and listening is two different things remember, that listening means actually obeying.

Listening to God’s voice

Is this virtual or real or maybe both? What exactly is listening to God’s voice it’s how you get a feeling that you are directed indirectly or maybe sometimes directly to do something. In the midst of the stillness of your mind you can hear that soft whisper in forms of feelings or just instinct in general. It’s in human’s nature to listen and know God’s voice.

Sometimes you might wonder why is listening to Gods voice important, let alone why listen to Gods voice when you have your own logical knowledge.  Buttttt….. lets stop here and rewind to that bible verse that goes like this:

Proverbs 3:5-6

⁵ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

In other words God is trying to say that yes your worldly logical knowledge might be correct for the moment but in the long run God knows best. Yes! Of course he does he is the beginning and the ending he has the blueprint of this world from the very beginning to the last ending the mysterious things we fear of in the future He knows it all. It’s miraculous how He works in such wondrous ways. So personally I believe that by listening to Gods voice our live will have comfort and a sense of feeling secure. Surrender maybe?

If you know God you will have no problem surrendering but for someone who doesn’t you might question the thought because the idea of surrendering your life- your existence, your entire being to someone is hard and getting to know God is the start of actually listening to his voice which will eventually lead to surrendering. God gave you a wonderful organ called your brain so you could think for yourself and I believe that he wants you to use it but by listening/obeying what he wants by hearing His voice is wise to do. Especially knowing the fact that he knows what your life will look like in the future, maybe in times you might be uncertain that it’s actually God and that everything seems illogical according to your brain but always remember that God will always want the best for you nothing less!

One more thing remember that even though science, mathematics have ways to explain the way things work and sometimes after accomplishing/understanding a theory in science you feel so smart but let me explain this to you so you could get a bigger picture of how things work. YOUR BRAIN IS LIMITED! I know I know we are all limitless and yes you are limitless like a verse said:

“All things are possible through Christ who strengthen me.”

Yes guys wake up you are absolutely nothing without God and that he is the one giving you strength to be limitless. So as I was saying the bigger picture, you are smart of course but God he is beyond compare. Your brain capacity compared to his is nothing maybe just likes a drop of water in the ocean. So listening, surrendering to a God like that is a very excellent idea like a life insurance that guarantee victory and eternity!
